How long have you been in business?
Been a Herndon institution since 1993!
What is your primary product or service?
Breakfast, lunch , dinner meals served in your facility either on our real dishes or disposables. Receptions, parties, picnics, you name it we excel at it!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Starting out in the hotel business, I first was a bartender, waiter. From there I helped a friend start a small catering company specializing in off premise corporate events. We both planned the events/menus but executed them as well. Shopping, cooking, heating, serving. We did it all, growing the business over 500% since it's inception. I then had the opportunity to buy an existing business and in 1993 off I went with Tiffin.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Home cooked food displayed on our crockery, in baskets, definitely sets us apart from others I've seen. Attention to detail, prompt deliveries and good value seals the deal.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one, no plans to expand at this time.

My location is just a kitchen/storage facility. We do not sell out of it retail, although on occasion our customers pick up their orders.

Corporate accounts net 30, credit cards, checks, cash

I do, I run it, cook it, deliver it!

As necessary for deliveries
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Your food tastes like my (aunts, moms, sisters), made simply with quality ingredients, displayed beautifully. I told them I made it!
