Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a private, non prifit corporation that provides financial assistance in the form of interest free loans,grants or combination of an interest free loan and grant to Soldiers on active duty or retired and to the widows of Soldiers who died while on active duty or in a rtired stastus when they have financial emergencies. We also provide college scholarships in the form of grants for dependent children and spouses of active duty and retired Soldiers for undergraduate study.
